Ahadi had watch his two sons for long. When they were only cubs, he realized that the wisdom of his son Taka would be gainful to the kingdom. He started to train and educate him apart of his brother Mufasa. That first son was upset not to pass time with his father and not to have a chance of being a king too. He started to be more and more rude and impetuous. He was jealous of Taka. Someday, he planned to fight with him so his father would see that he was braver and stronger. When Ahadi knew what he had done, he could not contain himself and hit his own son. He did not mean to do that but Mufasa got a huge scar on his left eye. After that moment, he called himself Scar  and denied his family. He became a brute and hated Taka. After months, Sarabi fell in love with Taka's kindness and greatness. Soon, Simba was born, taking Scar's place...

-Look at our little prince... Look at Simba. He looks just like you, said Sarabi.
-He looks like 'us', my love.
-Oh, I love you, Taka.
-I love you too, Sarabi.
